New Library Opening In Cedar Hill

The Jefferson County Library District is set to open a new location in Cedar Hill on Monday, February 20th. Jefferson County library director Tony Benningfield noted that the library will differ from regular libraries in a few key ways.

One of the most interesting elements of the new library is a drive-thru window to pick up books. Benningfield is excited to bring this feature to Cedar Hill.

He also thinks that this new branch can help a lot of people.

The grand opening on February 20th will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and many community leaders are expected to be in attendance.
