New Mexico Teen Seriously Injured in Dent County A.T.V. Crash

(Salem) A teenager from Albuquerque, New Mexico was seriously injured Wednesday in an A.T.V. accident in Dent County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Dent County Road 2400, about five miles west of Salem when a 17-year-old male juvenile entered a curve on a 2012 Suzuki Z400 four-wheeler.

The A.T.V. ran off the road, overturned and struck a barbed wire fence.

The teen was seriously injured and was taken to Salem Memorial Hospital where he was then flown to another hospital for treatment of his injuries.
