(Potosi) Global pandemic or not, Missouri school districts will be starting their new school year later this month.

The Potosi district has a new superintendent in Alex McCaul who took over for Interim-Superintendent Randy Davis who heads back to retirement.

McCaul had been the superintendent at Kingston in Cadet for several years prior to getting the leadership job at his hometown school.

As for the pandemic, students and teachers at Potosi are recommended to wear masks but they are not mandatory.

We also asked McCaul if students will have the option of learning from home instead of on-campus.

McCaul tells us about the principals at the Potosi schools this year.

The first day for students at Potosi is Monday, August 24th.
