New St. Francois County Berry Road Bridge Possibilities

(Bonne Terre) The Berry Road bridge in northern St. Francois County was demolished seven years ago after the state transportation department condemned it.

Since then, county officials have been investigating ways to rebuild it but Presiding Commissioner Harold Gallaher says it won’t be cheap.

It’s also estimated it would cost between 500 to 700-thousand dollars to rebuild the south and northbound lanes of Berry Road at the bridge over the Big River.
