New Study Projects COVID-19 Numbers in Each State

The Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation conducted a study “to determine the extent and timing of deaths and excess demand for hospital services due to COVID-19 in the U.S.”  Stephen Cabler breaks down Missouri’s outlook.

To view the report, go to covid19.healthdata.org/projections and select Missouri in the drop down menu. These numbers can change as more data is revealed. You can view all the other states’ data as well. As of today, Missouri has 1,581 and 18 deaths according to the Department of Health and Senior Services Twitter account.
