NFC Side Of Wild Card Weekend Is Sunday On Regional Radio

The NFL Playoffs continue Sunday on Regional Radio with two additional Wild Card games.

We switch to the NFC as the first contest will kickoff at 12:05 and see the 6-seed Minnesota Vikings travel to the 3-seed New Orleans Saints.

With it being the opening weekend of the playoffs, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins describes the change in feeling.

The Vikings are 10-6 while New Orleans is 13-3.

Cousins will be up against a tough defensive line according to his head coach Mike Zimmer.

For the second game, a 3:40 kickoff is scheduled and the matchup will be a battle of the birds.

A strong finish to the season allowed the 4-seed Philadelphia Eagles to win their division at 9-7, and they’ll host the 5-seed and 11-5 Seattle Seahawks.

Head coach for Philly Doug Pederson thinks his team is uniquely prepared for the playoffs.

It was the Seahawks coming out on top in the regular season matchup between these two teams by a score of 17-9 in Philadelphia.

Here’s Seattle head coach Pete Carroll.

Tune in Sunday as our coverage starts at 11:30 in the morning on AM 800 KREI and AM 1400 KJFF.

The NFL Playoffs will be on Regional Radio all postseason long.
