No. 9 Garden Club Holds Dedication of Blue Star Memorial at Columbia Park in Park Hills

(Park Hills) The No. 9 Garden Club of Park Hills held a special event last Friday at Columbia Park.

Club Treasurer John Clark says they had a special dedication.

Clark says the original garden club dedicated the chapel at Columbia Park 60 years ago.

Clark says the dedication had a great turnout.

Others attending the Blue Star Memorial dedication were representatives from the Missouri Federated Gardens Club’s and the Blue Star program.

Local V.F.W. representatives presented the colors and financially assisted in purchasing the plaque.

The No. 9 Garden Club in Park Hills has sold and continues to sell bricks to assist in this effort.
