No Bell Ringing For United Way Of St. Francois County

(St. Francois County) The United Way of St. Francois County has suffered a major blow to it’s fundraising efforts. Executive Director Clay Whitener says they’ve been informed there won’t be a bell ringing season this year in front of Walmart in Farmington and Desloge.
Whitener says they thought they had something worked out.
The bell ringing campaign for the United Way of St. Francois County normally brings in over 30 thousand dollars to the agency. The United Way donated over 180 thousand dollars last year to local not for profit agencies in the county.
