(IMPERIAL) The Windsor football Owls will not have a Homecoming Game after all this year as Lift for Life Academy has dropped out.
Windsor High School Principal Jason Naucke broke the news to KJFF Wednesday morning around 10:30. Despite multiple efforts which involved even reaching out to a school in Chicago, Windsor was unable to find a replacement team. However, Naucke says that Homecoming activities will still take place.

Windsor has a Week 3 matchup this Friday at DeSoto on AM 1400 KJFF.
Week 4, Homecoming Week for the Owls, will remain vacant. Lift for Life Academy does not receive a forfeit as they have simply scheduled a different opponent for a different day. The Windsor football team neither receives a win or a loss. With this, the Owls will finish the regular season with 8 games, barring something like this unexpectedly happening again.
