(Marble Hill) Southeast Missouri has seen a trend of more voters going the Republican route the last several years when casting their ballot during elections.

Bollinger County seems to be the most predominant Republican county in the region.

We asked County Clerk Brittany Hovis if Bollinger County will have any locally contested races on the November ballot.

Now that does not mean Bollinger County residents shouldn’t go to the polls on Election Day.

You will still be able to vote in contested races for President of the U.S., Governor of Missouri, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer and Missouri Attorney General.

There are also yes or no votes to uphold or kick out three current state judges.

And there are two statewide questions on the ballot.

One is to change the redistricting process Missourians actually voted in favor of just two years ago and the other is to extend term limits for all statewide offices.

The election is Tuesday, November 3rd.
