(BONNE TERRE, Mo.) – The North County Raiders boys basketball team came from behind to earn its second win of the season, topping the Arcadia Valley Tigers 61-51 in Bonne Terre Tuesday on J-98. Arcadia Valley jumped out in front early thanks to some hot shooting from beyond the arc.

The Tigers held a nine-point advantage at the halftime break. But the Raiders stormed back, outscoring the Tigers 43-24 in the second half. Jon Starkey led the way with 18 points, while Karter Kekec pitched in 15.

Raiders head coach Jimmy Palmer said some halftime adjustments helped them settle in to the game.

Arcadia Valley fell to 1-4 on the season and will visit South Iron next Tuesday. North County is now 2-2 and will face Perryville on Saturday at the MAC Rotary Shootout, which can be heard on J-98.
