North County encounters Cape Notre Dame in girls’ hoops sectionals on J98

(Cape Girardeau) The North County Raiders will look to continue a dominant season when they face off against Cape Notre Dame in the Class 5 girls’ basketball sectionals Wednesday on J98.
North County has gone 19-3 and reached new heights thanks to the back court of sophomore Paris Larkin, junior Tyler Conkright and seniors Emily Veach and Ella Gant.
But Raiders head coach Joe Arnold knows his team’s success ultimately depends on 6-foot-3 junior forward Kamryn Winch.
9th-ranked Cape Notre Dame is no stranger to the posteason, going 16-5 this season.
North County will look to knock off a perennial power when they take on the Bulldogs Wednesday evening at 6.
