North County Raiders Karter Kekec Selected to Second Straight Regional Radio Dream Team

(Bonne Terre, Mo.) A torment to opposing defenses for the North County Raiders, junior Karter Kekec, was named to the 2019-2020 Regional Radio Winter Sports Dream Team. This is the second year in a row Kekec has been selected by area coaches. North County went 20-8 this year and Kekec says the ceiling for next season is a high one.

The Raiders have had two 20 win seasons in the last three years, but have been unable to win a district championship. Kekec says he wouldn’t want to play high school basketball anywhere else.

Kekec averaged 22 points and 5 rebounds per game this season. He’s a 2-time MAAA All-Conference selection and All-District selection.
