North County, SEMO alum Forbes taken in NFL Draft

North County and Southeast Missouri State grad Drew Forbes was selected in the sixth round of the NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns. Forbes earned All-America status as an offensive tackle this year for the Redhawks. He was not invited to the scouting combine, but really turned some NFL heads during his pro day at SEMO. The 6’6″ 310 pound lineman ran a sub five second 40-yard dash time that would have been top five for offensive linemen at the NFL Combine, as well as Top 10 range marks in the bench press, vertical jump and the 3-cone technique.
