North County Senior Tyler Conkright Signs With Baker

(Bonne Terre) North County Girls Basketball Senior Tyler Conkright signed her national letter of intent to play collegiate basketball for the Baker University Wildcats in Baldwin City, Kansas (about 45 minutes away from Kansas City). Conkright will not be able to step on the court with her Lady Raiders this season due to an ACL injury, but her time on the sideline is giving her a new perspective on the game.

She tells us why she decided to sign with Baker University in Baldwin City.

Conkright says basketball runs deep in her family and many of them played ball at the college level.

Even though she is working through her injury at the moment, she says she will be back sooner rather than later.

The North County Lady Raiders are currently 12-3 on the season.
