(BONNE TERRE/HILLSBORO, Mo.) – After a senior season that saw her post an eye-popping .568 batting average for the North County Raiders softball team, senior Kennedy Kohler signed on Saturday to continue playing the sport with the Jefferson College Vikings.

This comes after she missed her entire junior season with a torn left ACL.

Kohler explains how the injury impacted her recruiting process.

Through it all, a continued belief came from JeffCo and their coaching staff led by Tony Cook.

Kohler tells us she’s pumped to be a Viking.

As she departs Bonne Terre, Kohler wanted to give a shoutout to her Raider teammates.

While the torn ACL was a devastating setback, Kohler says it’s given her a new perspective.

Kohler plays all over the diamond and is currently being listed as a utility player for Jefferson College.

She earned All-State honors in 2019, and was All-Conference all three years she was healthy in high school
