North County Students Wear Hats to Support Student in Need

The North County School District is holding a hat day fundraiser tomorrow (Friday) in support of student in need. Jase Murphy, a second-grader in the district has several health challenges and will begin a series of medical procedures in November. Superintendent Katie Bockman has the details on the fundraiser.
Bockman explains why the district wanted to wear hats a s a sign of support.
Although Murphy’s situation is challenging, Bockman says he provides a lot of positivity to other students in the district.
Students, faculty, and staff at North County will wear hats in support of Jase Murphy, and the district plans to continue to support him throughout the process.
