North Jefferson County Ambulance District Proposition Safety

(High Ridge) Residents that live within the North Jefferson County Ambulance District will see Proposition Safety on the April election ballot. It’s a bond issue to provide additional funding for infrastructure improvements at their two stations and update equipment. District Chief Jamie Quinn says these upgrades and new equipment are much needed.
Chief Quinn says the cost for new equipment continues to increase.
The North Jefferson County Ambulance District covers the northern portion of the Highway 30 corridor, with station houses in High Ridge and Fenton. Proposition Safety in the district will need a 4/7 majority to pass or 57 percent of the vote.
