Northwest Schools low COVID numbers district-wide
(Cedar Hill) The second semester continues to truck along for students and teachers in the Northwest R-1 School District.
Last week the district had no classes held on campus due to President’s Day as well as having to take snow days with the recent winter weather.
In regards to the COVID-19 front, Superintendent Dr. Desi Kirchhofer says the numbers remain low district-wide.
In addition, last week the CDC updated its masking guidance and removed the mandate that previously had all passengers required to wear a facial covering when a passenger on a school bus.
The Northwest School District has followed suit in relinquishing that requirement on school buses.
The next Northwest R-1 School District Board of Education meeting will be held on Thursday, March 17th.
