Northwest Softball with Historic Season Will Host Oakville in Class 3 Sectional on Wednesday

(CEDAR HILL) The Northwest softball Lions continued their historical season on Friday with a 17-6 win over Seckman in the Class 4 District 1 Championship Game.

The win gave the Lions their 24th victory of the season which is the most in program history. Head Coach Dan Davison and his group will look to keep the good times rolling as they host Oakville on Wednesday in the Sectional round.

 
Maddie Welker will be that pitcher in the circle for the Lions. Welker pitched in both the district semifinals and championship game last week. Coach Davison responded to being asked about whether or not this group will be fazed by the lack of success against Oakville.

 
The Northwest Lions will take on 19-4 Oakville on Wednesday at 4:15.
