(Woodland, MO) – The Perryville boys basketball team has a number of new faces for this season, returning only two players with varsity experience. They won their first game convincingly over Oak Ridge, 84-49, as part of the Woodland tournament. Pirate head coach Justin Dreyer says he saw some nice things for game number one.

Game two is not an easy one, facing the top-seed and tournament host Woodland Thursday. What does coach Dreyer see looking at the Cardinals?

Perryville and Woodland meet Thursday at 6:30 in the tournament semifinal. The championship is Friday at 8.
