One Injured In Jefferson County Sunday Morning Accident

A man was injured Sunday morning in a one vehicle accident in Jefferson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 21-year old Caleb Harrison of Barnhart was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Silverado and heading north on Highway W, north of Byrnesville Road.

The crash occurred when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway.

From there, Harrison over-corrected which caused the vehicle to then travel off the left side of the roadway and strike a grassy embankment.

Harrison sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to Mercy South for treatment.
