One Injured In Jefferson County Two Vehicle Accident Monday Morning

A man was injured Monday morning in a two vehicle accident in Jefferson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 28-year old Jacob Hemmer of Imperial was behind the wheel of a Mazda 6, heading eastbound on Route M, east of Old Lemay Ferry Road.

The crash occurred when the front left of Hemmer’s vehicle struck the rear right of a Sterling LT7500, being driven by 28-year old Cory Hoke of Bonne Terre.

Hoke was uninjured in the accident, but Hemmer sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.
