Opening Dates For Farmington Water Park & River’s Edge Splash Pad

(Farmington) Before you know it, it will be time to hit the water for a refreshing cool down.

A great place to do that is the River’s Edge Splash Pad, located next to the Farmington Water Park.

Farmington Parks and Recreation Department Director Doug Stotler says it won’t be long before the splash pad gates open.

No major work or repairs took place at the water park or splash pad during the off-season but a major repair job did happen on the filter system for the indoor pool at the civic center.

Stotler says thanks to the support from Farmington voters, the water park will be getting a facelift sometime in the not to distant future.

Admission to the River’s Edge Splash Pad is included with paid admission to the Farmington Water Park during regular water park operating hours.

Group discounts for the water park are available for 10 to 24 people or for groups of 25 or more.

The daily water park admission price is $8.50 for those ages 12 to 61.

It’s $7.50 for kids 3 to 11 and also for senior citizens 62 and up.

Discounts are also offered for those who visit the water park after 4 o’clock.
