Orland “Lewis” Garner, Jr. of Barnhart passed away Sunday at the age of 90. Lewis was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a member of Windsor Baptist Church in Imperial, a retired shift supervisor at Sunmark candy in St. Louis, a runner with the St. Louis Track Club, an avid orchid gardener, and loved to hunt deer.

He is survived by his daughter Pamela Davis of Barnhart; sons Brian of Imperial, Jeffery of Festus, and Timothy of De Soto; brothers Larry of Chattanooga, and Alan of Atlanta; sister Sally Peters of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Orland Garner, Jr. will be Thursday afternoon at 1 at Windsor Baptist Church with interment in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4 to 8 and again on Thursday from noon until the time of service at the church.

Memorials in his memory are preferred to the de Greeff Hospice House.
