Over 500 Elderly Missourians in Nursing Homes have Died from Coronavirus

(Farmington) New federal data show the coronavirus has killed at least 502 nursing home residents and seven nursing home workers in Missouri.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services says another 2,160 residents and 13-hundred employees have been infected by the virus.

The data offers a glimpse at the blow the virus has taken on Missouri’s senior citizens.

These numbers do not include assisted living communities and other types of residential care centers.
