Water service was a big topic at Tuesday’s Park Hills city council meeting.

2 new bills were passed changing ordinances on water service to city properties.

City administrator Mark McFarland says the first dealt with water shut-off valves.

The other ordinance would change the fees on after-hours water service.

The city council also approved an ordinance to change the rental fees for the parks department’s Horseshoe building and approved the mayor’s appointment of Ronald Burns to the board of adjustment.
