Park Hills/Leadington Chamber Banquet

(Leadington) The Park Hills/Leadington Chamber of Commerce celebrated another year of success for its membership Friday night at Elizabeth Hall in Leadington. The evening began with a dinner and then entertainment from Elton Dan and Rocket Band.

 

Then it was time to present awards. KTJJ and KREI radio honored John Clark with its 110% award. 25 years ago Clark was a leading advocate for the consolidation of communities that now comprise Park Hills. He has served as mayor, on the city council, the TIF district board, Park Hills Industrial Development Authority and is now president of the special road district and member of the Park Hills Garden Club. Other awards included the Chamber’s Friend Award to Alan Coleman, the Kelly Valle Sweat Equity Award to Hulsey Properties and Lifetime Contribution Award to Anne Strangmeier. The Lifetime Contribution Award went to Greg McWilliams and Joe Turners family accepted the Legacy Award on his behalf. Mike Campbell collected every ambassador award for the entire year.
