Park Hills Man Convicted on Federal Child Porn Charges

(St. Louis) A man from Park Hills was convicted by a federal jury last week on charges of receiving child pornography and accessing with the intent to view child pornography.

A news release from the U.S. Attorney’s office says investigators learned in 2019 that child sexual abuse materials were available through a peer-to-peer file sharing application and it was traced to 42-year-old Rodney D. Price.

They later found that Price had used his phone to search for and view child sexual abuse materials.

They found 167 images on his phone.

Price will be sentenced January 31st.

The receiving child porn charge carries 5 to 20 years in prison and the accessing child porn charge is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
