(Park Hills) There’s good news for senior citizens in Park Hills.

City Administrator Mark McFarland says a big decision was made at Tuesday night’s city council meeting.

Some discussion took place at the Park Hills City Council meeting about a new swimming pool that could be built to replace the old pool at Columbia Park.

McFarland says there’s not much they can do now except play the waiting game until after Tuesday, April 5th.

In other news from the Park Hills City Council meeting, there was discussion to change the city cemetery code but no decision was made.

Also, three pieces of city property have been claimed surplus property and will be put up for bid soon.

The City has also passed two ordinances…one adds an offense to the misuse of the 911 call system and the other prohibits begging and loitering in the city limits of Park Hills.
