Park Hills Senior Center to Host COVID Cruise Fundraiser

(Park Hills) Organizations all over Missouri struggle to raise money, during COVID-19, to continue providing important services for those who need help. The Park Hills Senior Center has cancelled many of their big fundraisers this year, but have come up with something that will help. Holly Buxton, with the center, tells us about the COVID Cruise.

The cruise takes place on Saturday October 3rd in Park Hills. There is no entry fee but donations will be taken along the cruise. Food trucks open at 4 and the decoration contest begins at 6. Buxton explains a little about the senior center, and the importance of the cruise this year in particular.

Donations can be made along the cruise route, via mail to 224 W Main St in Park Hills. The seven food trucks will make a donation at the end of the day from their sales, and t-shirts can be purchased for $20. The event is kid friendly and safe for the whole family.
