Park Hills Woman Charged After Allegedly Stealing Truck

For the third time in the last few months, a woman from Park Hills has been charged in connection with the theft of a vehicle.

25-year old Megan Lea Goodson, who also goes by Megan Cole, has been charged in St. Francois County with first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license.

This comes after an incident last Wednesday, when Goodson and her boyfriend allegedly stole a truck.

The man who had the truck stolen from him claims that Goodson and the boyfriend took it after he got out of the vehicle and offered to assist them with their own vehicle, which was stuck on the side of the road.

When the man got out of the truck, Goodson apparently made a move into the driver’s seat and sped away.

The boyfriend pointed a gun at the man before firing a round and fleeing on foot from the scene.

He is not being charged at this time, and Goodson is now out on bail.

The incident last week took place on Hildebrecht Road.
