Parkland Beekeepers Association to Host Beekeeper Class in Park Hills

(Park Hills) If beekeeping has always been a hobby you would like to try but don’t know how to get started, a local group will host an event in Park Hills for the novice apiarist.

Greg Hitchings is a member of the Parkland Beekeepers Association.

He tells us about the event scheduled for Saturday, March 4th.

Hitchings says a while back it was tough times for beekeepers but the hobby is seeing some success now.

Besides the beginning beekeeping class on Saturday, March 4th at Mineral Area College, the Parkland Beekeepers will host another program on Saturday, March 11th from 9 a.m. until mid-afternoon at the Arcadia Academy.

This class is for the more advanced beekeeper.
