Parson on Long Term Care Facilities Reopening

(Jefferson City) Today marked the reopening of Missouri without restrictions. Governor Parson announced that long term care facilities can implement their own restrictions.

Parson says the state will work together with these facilities and local health officials to reopen safely.

Nursing homes have the responsibility of staying up to date on local regulations and following them to keep people safe.

As of today, 16,414 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Missouri with 882 deaths.
