Parson Orders Schools to Remain Closed

(Jefferson City) Governor Parson ordered today, that all Missouri schools will remain closed for the remainder of the school year.
Margie Vandeven, Commissioner of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, joined the Governor and expressed gratitude for the educators in Missouri.
She urged them to keep striving to educate even in the tough times.
Governor Parson had a message for the senior class of 2020.
School will continue through virtual and online means and will release the same day as indicated on the approved school calendars.
