Patrolman Lane A Burns Memorial Highway Bill Heads To The State Senate

(JEFFERSON CITY, BONNE TERRE) 115th District State Representative Cyndi Buchheit-Courtway of Festus has seen a lot of movement with some of her bills during this legislative session. She says one of her bills establishes the “Patrolman Lane A Burns Memorial Highway” on a portion of State Highway K from Lorraine Street continuing east to Jarred Drive in St. Francois County.

Buchheit-Courtway says several other designations were attached to this bill along the way.

A total of 13 other roadways and bridges across the state will be designated to honor fallen first responders and military personnel. House Bill 2997 was passed last week and is now being discussed in the State Senate.
