Perryville Baseball Hoping for Consistency Through Returnees

The Perryville Pirates are hoping to steady the ship last season saw them finish at 8-18 after starting the season at 4-5.  For Manager Donald O’Keefe, he says the recent Saint Genevieve Jamboree helped when it came to finding out what the team looked like this season.

Some of the returnees include utility man Adam Green, starting pitcher Logan Hayne, and Grant Smith, another utility man coming off an injury-plagued previous couple of seasons.

Manager O’Keefe mentioned despite some struggles throughout the season, he says that the identity for Perryville this season is simple: to play hard for the entire seven innings.

Perryville’s first game is Friday when they go on the road to face off against Red Bud.
