(PERRYVILLE, Mo.) – Perryville Pirates senior volleyball player Avery Wibbenmeyer finished her high school career this season with an All-State Selection, and now she has made official her next destination.

Wibbenmeyer signed Wednesday with Maryville University in St. Louis to continue playing volleyball collegiately.

She breaks down what drew her to make this decision.

Wibbenmeyer has spent her high school career as a setter.

She tells us what position she’s expecting to play at Marvyille.

The Pirates won their district this year and got all the way to the state quarterfinals before falling to the Windsor Owls.

Wibbenmeyer was happy to end her high school career on a high note.

Wibbenmeyer averaged over 9 assists per set in 2019 en route to being named to the Class 3 All-State Team.
