Perryville's Dillon Schlimpert Nets a Spot On Regional Radio Dream Team

(Perryville) Dillon Schlimpert of the Perryville Pirates soccer team is a member of the Regional Radio Dream Team. The senior picked up two goals and three assists to go along with stellar defensive play at right center-back for the Pirates this season. Having played varsity all four years of high school, Schlimpert tells us how he improved from freshman to senior year.

Schlimpert is joined on the Dream Team by fellow Pirates Dayton Strattman and Ty Baudendistel. He says they’re relationship on and off the pitch is special.

Perryville made it to the Class 2 State Championship but lost to Whitfield 4-2. Schlimpert enjoyed the experience of playing in the game and the community support his team received along the way.
