Pevely Elementary Sets a Guinness World’s Record Using Mac N Cheese

(PEVELY, HERCULANEUM) Pevely Elementary School in the Dunklin R-5 School District has set a new Guinness World Record for the most boxes of Mac N Cheese to be collected and set up to fall like dominos. The attempt to collect the boxes began in early March. Dunklin R-5 Director of Communications, Matt Lichtenstein talked about what type of record could be attainable.

He says they decided upon a mac n cheese collection.

Lichtenstein says they collected nearly double the amount needed to break the record.

He says on March 29, several volunteers and other staff members came together at Pevely Elementary to set up all the 11-thousand boxes to finalize the new record.

All the information, including the video of the boxes dropping, has been sent to Guinness for verification. Unofficially, Pevely Elementary School has set the record for the most boxed food collection and tipping them over like dominos.
