Pevely Man Indicted on Child Molestation Charges

(St. Francois Co., Mo.) The St. Francois County Grand Jury has indicted a Pevely man with child molestation. On June 9th, 70-year-old Frankie Patton of Pevely was indicted with three counts of first-degree child molestation.

On October 30th, a deputy with the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department began investigating Patton on allegations that he had molested a girl who was under the age of 14.

The girl told the deputy on the case that three incidents happened when she was around 11-years-old.

Patton was booked on February 11th in the St. Francois County Jail, but posted his $100,000 bond and was out by February 14th.

Patton has an initial arraignment hearing scheduled for this Friday morning at 8:30 at the St. Francois County Circuit.

Patton will be monitored by GPS and is not allowed to contact the victim or have unsupervised contact with anyone below the age of 18 while out on bond.
