Pevely Man Injured In Accident On I-55

A 49-year-old Pevely man suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident yesterday evening. The Highway Patrol Says the accident occurred northbound on I-55 at Route M. Steven Frank lost control of his 2003 Ford Excursion on the ice-covered road. He began to slide and traveled off the left side of the road and struck a concrete median barrier. He was taken to Mercy Hospital South by Rock Township Ambulance District. Frank was not wearing a seatbelt.
