Pevely Police Arrest One of Jefferson County’s Most Wanted

(Pevely) One of Jefferson County’s top ten most wanted are back behind bars after being arrested in Pevely.

Pevely Police Captain Larry Miller has the details.

Norton was recently listed on the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Top 10 Most Wanted list for previous crimes such as Burglary in the 2nd Degree and Stealing over $750.

Norton is being processed on an application of warrants for new charges and is being held for transfer to the Jefferson County Jail.

Captain Miller says the driver of the stolen vehicle was also taken into custody.

The third arrest was that of a 31-year-old Ste. Genevieve man. He was booked and released on charges of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Except Marijuana.
