Pevely Police investigate multiple car break-ins in area neighborhood

(Pevely) Pevely police are reporting that multiple vehicles were broken into last Thursday evening in the 1000 block of Oak Trail.

Pevely Police Chief Mark Glenn says they received a call around 6:40pm for a report of a person breaking into parked cars.

Authorities are asking residents who live in the area of Oak Trail, Sunridge Trail, Orchard Trail, or Blackberry Trail in Pevely to check their vehicles to determine if any items are missing.

Chief Glenn provides some safety precautions to avoid becoming a victim.

The suspect, whose name has not been released is being held at the Pevely Police Department jail.
