Pevely stormwater master plan

(Pevely) For the better part of a year, the City of Pevely has been getting public input on a stormwater master plan for future projects to improve the aging infrastructure. The city hired Cochran Engineering to handle the study and the results were presented at the end of April. Pevely City Administrator Andy Hixson says the results of the plan will now dictate where the needed improvements need to take place.

The estimated cost for the improvements is just shy of 1.8 million dollars. The funds generated from the stormwater and park tax that was passed by the Pevely voters a few years ago will help pay for these improvements. The first round of construction for the designed improvements will begin later this year. You can view the master plan on the City of Pevely website.
