Pevely to soon release a salary study

(Pevely) Several Jefferson County municipalities are shorthanded when it comes to city employees. Nearly every city in the area is hiring for a variety of positions. One of those is Pevely, and City Manager Andy Hixon says they are about to get the results of a salary survey which should help them in the long run.

The salary survey will likely result in an increase in wages going forward. Pevely is currently looking to fill positions in Public Works, the Water Department, Wastewater, and a Chief Water Operator. They are also looking for a Police Dispatcher and a Police Officer.
