Pevely write-in candidates will not count, appointment expected

(Pevely) No candidates officially filed to run for the vacant Ward 4 seat on Pevely Board of Alderman during this month’s General Municipal election. Pevely City Administrator Nathan Schauf says there were a few write-in candidates submitted, but they will not be counted according to election rules.

Schauf says the likely move will be to appoint someone willing to serve, to that seat.

Rick Yount formerly filled that seat in Ward 4, but moved his residence into Ward 2, and ran unopposed for that seat on April 6th.
