(PILOT KNOB) The Pilot Knob Wildlife Refuge in the Arcadia Valley is normally closed to the public but two public hikes through the refuge will be offered in April. Corey Kudrna with U.S. Fish and Wildlife shares the highlights of this three-hour hike.
Kudrna says the hikes would be like a guided tour through the refuge.
Kudrna says the hike is somewhat tough to do but he says most people can do it.
The hikes take place Saturday, April 13th and Wednesday, April 17th from 9 until 1. Participants must register by calling the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service office at the Mingo Wildlife Refuge at 573-222-3589.
