Pingel Rewrites Record Book at Three Rivers, Moves On To MoBap

(Farmington) After rewriting the record books at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Farmington grad Allison Pingel will continue her softball career and matriculate at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis. After becoming the single season rbi, home run and slugging percentage leader as a freshman, Pingel set new career marks as a Raider this past season. We asked her if there was one school record she coveted more than the others.
However, her favorite memory was the team accomplishment of playing in the national tournament during her freshman year.
Pingel finished her two years with 28 homer runs, 124 rbi’s, a slugging percentage of .783 and a place on many of the other top lists in Three Rivers softball history. Her single season highs included 21 homers, 84 runs driven in and an .864 slugging percentage. Pingel says the coaching staff and proximity to home were among the factors convincing her to attend Missouri Baptist.
Allison says she will continue to study education at MoBap.
Pingel says in addition to teaching she’s also interested in coaching softball.
