Perryville and Windsor Square Off in Imperial Tonight on the SportStream

(Imperial) The Perryville Pirates head to Imperial today to take on the Windsor Owls in week two of the high school football season. Perryville lost in week one and looks to bounce back after a good week of practice. Head coach Blane Boss says the Pirates need to focus on themselves this week.

The Owls got a win last week thanks to quarterback Derek Williams late game heroics. Head coach Alex Dematteis believes that his squad needs to focus on cleaning up their mistakes to get another win this week.

The two teams run similar offenses, according to Dematteis, and he knows it’s all about proper execution.

Boss looks toward his offense to control the ball and the clock. On defense, he says they need to step up this week be sound tacklers.

The two teams have played 6 times prior to today’s match up. The series is tied at three games apiece with Perryville winning the last game 49-0.

These are two different teams however, and both are looking to make a statement.

For the Pirates, its about bouncing back and proving to themselves they are better than their week one performance. For Windsor, the mindset is getting to 2-0.
